The Purpose of life

What you want to do with your life !

Does people know what they want to do  early in their life ? Some people do. but most of them aren't sure  about the purpose of life or what is it they really wanted to do. They just live.

People find pleasures in different things. A normal boy coming out of his adolescent age will have no idea on what meaningful thing he has to do unless he has a good guide. Now how many of us got a life guide ?

Some people figure out what they wanted to do in their twenties, some in their thirties or fourties.
Some never identify at all. By the time they decide what is it they needed out of life, most of them would have fallen in the fallacy of societal pressures and commitments. They might have enrolled into some irrelevant degrees or some jobs or entered into a family life. Now they don't have any choice to quit what they do and unlearn. They have a family to feed or boss to answer or some degree to pass. Most of them stick on to what they do. They quit their desire to find the purpose just because that is the most easy thing to do at that moment.

A person who is in 30s realising , he is someone who has skill of motivational speaker, might already be at a job which require none of those skills. He gets frustrated with his job and will do it just for money. How frsutrating it will be for a person to write some Java Codes when his actual interest is travelling the world and making vlogs. Everyone has the option to quit the current situation and go and pursue their dreams or purpose. But how many of us do that?
Most importantly how manyof us has figured the purpose of life. Money is not the purpose, people confuse money with purpose, being rich with money is often identified as purpose of life. Money is just a by product. It is not the purpose.

What you want to do with life ?
If there is no money existing in this world, what would you do to keep your soul happy ?
Will you be able to do something without expecting anything in return lifelong ?

Above 3 questions needs to be answered by every individual before they turn 21. Actually there is no age restriction to this but earlier the better.

These days you get motivation everywhere. Insta reels , facebook posts, youtube channels give so much ideas and motivations about life. But seriously speaking are they useful? Has it changed your monotonous life to take a sharp U turn. There could be few people who got idea struck with such things. But again large chunk of people falls in the category of spectators of these motivations. Even if they do something for the sheer purpose of motivation, it wont last long enough since that is the not the real thing their real self needs.

So how to identify the purpose of your life . Interesting question of course. People have different answers.
Taking guidance from life coaches and wise elders who know you is the simple and fastest way. But how many got such right people around you.

Here's the simplest way !

1) Take a week break from your life.
2) Take a week off from your work
3) Take a week away from your spouse and kid if you are  family person
4) Take a week off from your college or studies
5) Take a week off from your phones and internet.

Take a week off from your current world is what I mean. No phones, No calls, No friends, No family, No work, No TV, No newspaper, No Internet.
You be all alone ! You go where ever you get some me time.

Think , Think , Think  !

A question may arise what to think ?

Think of all those things you have done in your entire life till date.
Think of all those games you have played
Think all those books you have read
Think all those presentations and performances you have made in front of crowd
Think all those minute achievements
Think of all setbacks
Think of all people you have encountered in your life

Make a journal or note it down in a small notebook. You don't need full description of your thoughts.
Just the synopsis , to rewind.

Note down everything, Even if its a silly sports event or school arts festival or Rookie award at your first company or a word of appreciation from your parents or teachers.
Note down all the failures or insults you have encountered.
Make a journal which is a reverberation of your past life

Read this journal over and over again during this week off !
More the times you read , more you will be clear on your personality, more clear you will be on your real self. Now make a interpretation of your personal self from this journal. Be brutally honest about it. Think of nothing during this week. Think of this week as a long pending holiday from hassles of monotonous life.

Your purpose of life or what you want to do with your life lies in your past life or events. At least it shows what you are good at , it shows what you enjoy the most, where should you invest your rest of your life to .
Be very honest about the interpretations. If you realise , you are sports person and you do computer coding now, make ways to quit the current Job even if it pays you million dollars. Learn to put your interests ahead of money. Don't make decisions based on the recognition you get or money you earn.
Make decision about your purpose of life from your past , your memories, your heart , from real you !

Ultimately one who follows his real passion is found to be content with life. The person who identifies his purpose will lead a meaningful life.

Through Konkan

The busy traffic and heavy rain at Bangalore has made the roads underwater. After my office hours I was quickly rushing to my hometown since there was a long weekend coming ahead. This time my journey is in train although I usually go by bus.I reached K R Puram railway station an hour before the scheduled time. Waiting in a brown bench watching the trains pass in front of you is a good timepass. My thoughts went back some years back seeing a train from north india.

Some years back I was working in a nationalised bank. The job involves some immediate transfers across the country. These transfers are always scary  for us since we have no idea on which part of the country we are deputed to.After 6 months of service at my hometown my transfer order came where in I was deputed at Vapi , an Industrial city in Gujarat.

I prepared myself to go. The train was  booked .I boarded the train. It was 27 hours journey. The 2 tier Ac caoch was clean and neet . There was only one co passenger in my coupe. This train was not having its pantry car. Anything and everything which we need to eat has to be bought when some station arrives. My co passenger Rajkumar was working in L & T at Rajasthan. He was fully prepared for the journey with all the food packed from home. I had only a waterbottle. I managed with the biriyanis and chapattis you get from the stations. That night I slept peacefully in the train after a watching couple of movies in my laptop which I had saved for the train journey.

The next morning was very pleasant. The train was moving swiftly through the green terrain where in you see some good green plants and some agricultural plots. Soon I realised that I am going through Konkan Railway track. This konkan was much heard topic through our social studies book . This track is famous for number of tunnels.I started counting the tunnels . I noticed that these tunnels are longer than usual tunnels which I see in our kerala.

The beauty of the terrain aside made me wonder if such places exists in India. The train was going beside mountains , green agricultural plots where in people cultivate groundnuts and some other crop( which I am not sure what it is). You can look outside and sit for hours with a peacefull mind. The beauty of nature was its peak.

I realised that I am hungry . I was drinking more water so that I can manage my hunger till the next station is reached. But Rajkumar offered his homely food to me. We shared his breakfast .Rajkumar is a project manager in L&T. He vists his hometown once in every six months. He couldnt take his wife and children to the site since he is sleeping in container homes at the site. These container homes will be shifted from one place to other as per the requirement of the project.

I felt sad for him since he was continously speaking of his children. He misses them a lot due to his nature of the job. 2 weeeks in every 6 months is the time he spents with his family. After our breakfast and conversation with a deep breath he was lost in his thoughts looking outside . The train was running immensly fast through konkan.

After couple of hours at a station train was halted. A short break from long sitting and lying down , I jumped out of the train to get some fresh air. Sellers were rounding the train with a basket of “ Vada Pav”. I had one vada pav. This was the first time I was tasting a vada pav. It tastes good and fullfilled my hunger quickly.

From the beautiful konkan railway ,we reached the congested city tracks.Mumbai and its congestion was visible even from train. Tightly Packed flats and streets were the beauty of Mumbai. People come in search of their fortune to this city.Three more hours from Mumbai was my destination.

I am going to join a new branch in Vapi .The city is very new to me. There is not even a single person I know in this city. No friends , No relatives, nobody.

Being Gujarat , people speak gujarati.I dont understand thier language.I dont understand their culture and I have nobody to help me there. My branch manager has provided me the contact of Chief manager of vapi branch.

Since I had no clue where to stay what to ask for , I decided to call the chief manager . His name was Prasannakumar. He was from Andhra. He welcomed me with good smile when I called him. He agreed to pick me up from railway station too.Such a nice person . When I got down at Vapi station , He was waiting there to pick me . He looks aged . He might be some years younger to my father. But still he was in his late fourties.

He greeted me and took me to his home . He informed I can stay in home for a week or two since his family went hometown . It was a great relief for me since I got some time to get adjusted to the new city. The city is heavily polluted. Everywhere you see only dust and fumes. I got freshened up . My chief manager took me out for a dinnner.First day at vapi he told he will show me good gujarati food. The food and buttermilk was so tasty . Gujarati food is really yummy. After our dinner we reached the flat and was ready to sleep. My chief manager made sure that I was comfortable  . He took care of me as my parents does. I had a good sleep.

When I woke up in the morning , I saw him cooking break fast for me. Andhra style upma which he prepared for me was spicy. But was tasty. We both dressed up and I was ready to join my new branch.

When I reached bank , I was welcomed by good number of staffs. I felt happy.Though they all knew gujarati they tried to speak with me in hindi and english to make me comfortable.Young clerks who were of my age ,Dhawal and Sushil made me feel I am one among them. From the watchman to our Assistant branch manager I met them and minkled with them quickly.

Back in those days I was too confused how people go out to a new place and start a new life. What I was experincing now was such same scenario but I got comfortable soon. Soon I was burdened with lot of work.My chief manager made me very busy with work that he didnt even gave a second to miss my home town.

Life at vapi is very busy. Being a industrial branch we had lot of companies to visit and lot of work to do. Me and my manager reach branch by morning 9 and we leave by night 9. I wonder at this age how is he working so hard. During the weekend he took me to some party where in only he will be invited .These parties are arranged by the customers to bank managers to approve big loans. He took me to all those places to study how things work.

Since his family was back I had to shift to a new flat .But soon I got a friend praveen who was also transferred just like me. I got adjusted to the place and people.I made a bunch of friends from all age groups. Mahinder singh motwani is one such friend who inspired me continuously about starting a business.

Things were smooth and going good.Hangouts at daman ,an union territoy nearby vapi and busy bank hours has made vapi days beautiful. Suddenly the transfer order came in again . It was not even a month I joined vapi. Again a transfer to kutch has made me down. I had to leave my belowed branch and my loving friends and my manager and leave in 2 days to join a branch in kutch. Some immediate requirement at that branch made them to pull me there.

People at bank get leave for two weeks after a transfer is initiated . This leave is to pack and make yourself ready to relocate. I decided to leave my hometown since I was down and again a relocation was making me uncomfortable. I applied leave for 2 weeks and left hometown bidding good bye to my vapi friends. The plan was to join the kutch branch in 2 weeks time.

That two weeks changed my life. I left my job. Went for studies again and now reached an IT firm in Bangalore. Now sitting in K R puram railway station and seeing these trains coming from Gujarat filled me with good memories. Though  I have spend a little time with them their love and affection was priceless .

Our Journey !

In this phase of life, My bachelor days were over and I got married to my Love. We spent our days loving, fighting irritating each other. We lived away from our parents due to our career choices.

It was during one such loving day, we heard that the World was hit by a Pandemic Covid 19. We felt sorry about it and we thought this would vanish like any other disease out there. But we were wrong, this one was hitting the world very badly. Our offices were shut down and cities were under lockdown. Restaurants, Malls, movie theatres were closed. Flights were stopped and people were in total panic.

We gradually moved to our home town to live with our parents. The initial days of the complete lockdown were hard for a couple like us since we were utilising all our possible free time to roam around and see the places. But like everybody else, we got used to staying at home. We found our new hobbies. Life was again getting back to its pace.

It was during one such day we found that my wife was pregnant! Shock surprise emotions were hitting us together. It took time for us to digest that, we are expecting a baby. But gradually we started preparing for our  Big Day, the Delivery day! We did everything which a couple could do during the pregnant days, realising these were our pre-baby days and we were not sure how the days would turn up after the baby's arrival. We explored different places and tried hitchhiking violating lockdown rules.

Days passed by very fast and my wife was in her ninth month. We tried to stay home and tried avoiding all social contacts trying to mark us safe during Covid 19. My wife was going through her hardest phase of life. Even though she tried not to show up her ninth-month difficulties, I was feeling sorry to see her going through this. The thought of our baby was giving us the strength to get through this phase. Men usually, in such days, has got only one thing to do. "Make the life of your partner easy" I was trying my best for that.

The day came by, Our delivery due date. We planned to get admitted to the hospital at least 2 days in advance. We had to do our Covid 19 tests for admission. We did our tests and there comes the surprise. DAMN ! My wife turned Covid Positive.

We had tried to be extra cautious during our last month. We avoided all social gatherings We took all possible precautions and still it turned positive. The covid positive mothers have to deliver the baby in the Covid Wards. We didn't have a choice. We were put in Covid Ward at the hospital. The nurses came in their PPE kits and stayed 2 meters away from my wife trying to help her. The doctor too followed the same protocol, PPE kit and 1 arm distance from my wife. Eventually, I realised, my wife is alone and she is not going to get any assistance or help, which a normal pregnant woman gets during her Delivery Day. People were afraid of us, doctors, nurses, cleaning staff, everyone saw us like tribal immigrants.

Morning turned Night and as expected, labour pain has started for my wife. Nurses and Mid Wife helped her through this phase, maintaining their social distance. There was no labour room in the covid ward since it was a new setup. One of the normal rooms was turned into a Labour Room for my wife. The night was long and the room was occupied by Nurses and I see the Gynec coming in. My Wife insisted people around her to remove her N95 masks, but this bad Covid, made doctors and nurses Say "No". Breathing was getting extremely difficult for her during her Delivery time due to these Masks. But she had no choice.

After 9 hours of Labour,
My brave wife delivered my Son with an N95 mask fixed to her face. Yes, it was a normal delivery and it is a baby Boy! Even though Covid hit us hard during our most important day, we came out of it safely. We had a lot of questions about the baby born from the Covid Positive Mother, but our son came out just like any other healthy cute baby.

Maybe covid positive deliveries become more common going forward, Maybe we eradicate this pandemic soon with effective vaccinations, but one thing doesn't change. Mankind is prone to face many such situations in one way or other. Maybe next time it's World War, or a New Pandemic or Meteor attack.  We never know what's going to happen tomorrow.

Let's just be grateful for what we have now, let's just live our life now, Let's embrace the moments we have now!

Carpe Diem!

Spirit of Chennai

It was a December night. I had switched my company from a software firm in Chennai to Bangalore. Officially it was my last night as a resident in Chennai. My friend slept too early that day since there were power fluctuations. I was packing my stuffs so that I can handover packed stuffs to Packers and Movers the next day. With lots of bargaining I finally agreed with a Packers and Movers group who charged nominally. They agreed to transport my bike as well.  The next day  agenda was to hand over the stuffs to packers and movers , and catch the train at 9 PM to Kerala. A small vacation which I get from switching the companies , I had planned to spent it in my home town.

After packing my stuffs , I also went to bed. Chennai was raining heavily. People in Chennai welcomes rain since it is a rare phenomenon. Even though there were power fluctuations I was happy that Chennai is witnessing a good rain. Gradually I slipped to deep sleep. I woke up early the next morning. It was still raining. The power had still not come. My friend was still sleeping. I peeped outside the window to see the rain. I was shocked to see the streets drowned under water. I understood from my first instinct that this is not a normal situation. By the time my friend too woke up. He was not exclaimed. He was telling me , because there is no proper drainages water gets stagnated in street. City is not planned . After our shower we waited for 2-3 hours for the rain to stop, so that we can go outside and have food. Rainfall is not stopping ,rather it was increasing every minute. The atmosphere was getting more and more darker and rain was at its peak.

By the time clock strike 10 , we were too hungry that we decided to drench in rain and go eat.The water in streets were above our knee. Drainage was overflowing. We went a nearby Iyer hotel and ate poori masala quickly. We rushed to our flat quickly. We again took another bath since we were very sure that rainwater in the street were mixed with the drainage water. Packers and Movers disagreed to come since the roads were under water and there was bad traffic jam. I literally begged the packers and movers to please come some how . I was afraid whether I will miss my train in this rain calamity. The situation was becoming worse minute my minute. My friend was continuously asking me to find any way though we both were not sure about the way out. Mobile phones were not showing network. No network provider had a working network except for BSNL which comes and goes . By the time it was evening , We are almost sure that packers and movers will not turn up. We were almost sure that we will miss our train. Atlast we came to know that , trains were cancelled.

People were stuck in railway station and Koyembedu Bus stand. So called the secondary bus stand ,perungalathur was also crowded. Ola introduced boat service. Hotels were closed . ATMs were out of order.Petrol pump had no petrol since Lorrys didn’t come. By the time , it was 9 PM in the night we were hungry again for the fact that we skipped our lunch. We decided to roam around and come since hunger has conquered us. Tambaram , where my flat was located was damn crowded. People were walking in the road despite of water. Everybody was in search of one or other thing. The feeling of panic , I could see in everyone’s eyes. We saw a super market.I rushed into the supermarket and immediately took a bunch of bread and cupcakes.Candles was one big necessity during this rainy day. We walked in the water filled road carefully towards our flat. We decided we will go tomorrow to Kerala somehow. We knew it was becoming worse. For bachelors like us, without cooking it was impossible to survive there. We both didn’t know how we are going to escape. But we were determined enough to travel the next day.

Some how we managed to sleep that very night. The feeling of uncertainty, the responsibility of the situation and the courage to face it. I was becoming more than what I was. I woke up early. Fortunately there was a break in rain , but the atmosphere was still dark, scary dark.
There was no time for break fast. I asked my friend to wake up. Even he got ready soon. We were out of money. It was highly important that we get some money from any ATM. None of the ATM in our locality was working. I took out my bike key and were all set to go in search of ATM.

The bike ride through the road which was filled with water was adventurous. We could see traffic was very much tightly packed and no vehicle is moving except for some bike riders who managed to do some stunts in between the traffic. Somehow we reached  perungalathur. It was the nearest Bus stand. There were couple of ATMs in that locality . None of it was working. We came to know that there was no bus running and all the train has stopped. Airport is under water. Now only way out is to wait one or two days more .We were not ready.

Since I know many short cut pocket roads in Chennai , I drove back to my room overcoming the traffic in main road. On the way I saw a petrol bunk. These Indian oil petrol bunks accept Cards.
I filled petrol and gave my card swipe. I was literally praying so that their Card machine works. It worked by Gods grace. Since we were out of money , I asked petrol bunk boy  whether it is possible to swipe my card   and give me the Liquid cash since no ATM was working. He agreed, but he need commission for it. Man’s desire for money making has no limit despite the emergency situation. We left the petrol bunk .By the time we decided to travel kerala in our Pulsar 180.

Quickly locked the flat door. We were heading towards the Chennai- Salem Highway .As expected drizzling has already started. Through the pocket roads which were full of water,it was very difficult to ride.I was not able to judge where is the road since everywhere was equally filled with water. The pocket road lead us to the Kelambakkam-Vandalur road which was comparatively big . Like the after-effect of an earth quake, roads were broken and small check dams which were on its side was overflowing. Somehow we crossed there and reached vandalur. The big walls which were around the zoo were completely broken and my thoughts were about the animals which were stuck in the cages. The cruelty of the mankind, including me is what we see in the cages.

Slowly we reached the Chennai Salem Highway.  Both the sides of the road were full of water.
Military has already taken control of the situation. They were helping people to evacuate the place.Cars were floating in the water. Since highway is above the ground level by some meters ,there was still some scope of transportation. Feeling of Panic and responsibility was there in my mind. The traffic block has started and people were saying that only bikes can go. I tried to move forward with some jiggling in between the traffic which all the bikers were doing. At last we reached the dead end where we were not able to move a bit.The Dam on the left side of the highway was overflowing.

There was a JCB which is trying to break the divider in between the highway so that water doesn’t get stagnated on one side of the highway.Bikers were trying to cross the JCB . JCB driver was concentrated in breaking the divider as soon as possible. He is not noticing the bikers crossing through the water filled road. Finally JCB driver succeeded in breaking the divider and the water was roaring with its full speed to other side. The yellow scooter which was just in front of me couldn’t bear the force of the water flow it went with the flow. Other bikers stopped and helped the scooter guy and pulled his scooter from drained into the dam.We were scared and even my bike was falling due to the water pressure from one side to other. My friend quickly got down from the bike and was trying to push the bike from other side so that it doesn’t fell. The face to face adventure or urge to get out of emergency situation made us get the energy to cross that over flooded area of the Chennai highway. After that I was totally tired and my hands were red .

I asked my friend to ride the bike. Rain was heavily pouring but we didn’t mind it. We crossed the major part of Chennai and we reached the Tindivanam which is almost 100 km away from Chennai. We found the first working ATM there and we took our money. Nearby there was a good vegetarian hotel. We ate which filled both our stomach and mind. After a 1 hour rest we again continued our journey. The climate was improving . At last the rain stopped when we were about to reach Salem. Salem to kerala border, it is another 200 km but we felt we have crossed the major hurdle. By almost 10.30 PM we reached our home.

When I look back now, it was a journey of adventure, friendship, courage and fear. But it is a memory which I always love to cherish.

Ultimate Happiness

Happiness is a relative term. I have always wondered what is it,  which makes a person happy. Is it the bank account balance, or social status?  Is it the big luxurious house or grand premium car?  Is it the job you do or the inborn talent you have?

Of course these things gives happiness. When you badly want a high end mobile phone and you managed to buy it, you will feel happy. What is the duration of that happiness. Might be it last for some days or at the maximum some months. Same is the case with other materialistic things. Those are temporary happiness. They boost up your energy level.

Some of them have inborn talents. They may be a singer, they may be an artist or a exceptional sportsman. But how many of them are happy being what they are?

For some , being with a good life partner is their happiness. Yes of course it is a happiness. But that happiness is dependent on your partner. He/She keeps you occupied, happy and energetic. You find your happiness in him/her.

The ultimate happiness is when you are true to yourself. When you have no regrets of your past
activities. When you do good to others without expecting anything in return. When you have proper right explanation for whatever you do.When you become true to yourself you achieve a state of mind called peace. That is the happiness.

Happiness is not loud laughter with your friends or Hitting top speed in your bike. It is the peace which you give yourself.

The Meaning of Life...

As usual,I opened my laptop and was searching you tube for new releases .None of the movie seems interesting to me or may be I was not in a mood to watch a movie.I thought i will spend time valuable and checked my mails and read some tech news and stuffs.Still some kind of incompleteness I felt.At last my google searches ended up in a blog which describes about the music .The contemporary Indian western classical fusion .The music took me to its heights.I haven't experienced such kind of hallucination . It was giving me energy. It made me stay awake even when the clock strikes 3.30 AM.

Might be the music which i heard or some hallucinations of the music made me think the meaning of life.

I came to read this article.

Injustice

India is now one of the most developing nation. Many changes are seen everyday which makes people proud of our country. The new "swachh bharat" scheme introduced is very much inspirational and good for a country like India. I am one of the proud citizen of this country.I believe that small changes which take part now in our country is gradually giving way to a BIG change.

Even though things are going well and good ,i personally experienced one bad incident. As usual, one fine morning i planned a bike trip with one of my friend .We got ready very soon and we planned to move in my bike.Since we had no other friends accompanying , we decided to go in one bike.I made up my bike ready and we started .The climate was cool and we didn't find difficult to ride during the day time.Bikers always will be thrilled when going for such kind of trips which is very unexpected. We both were the same.We stopped in between after some 150 km for a tea.It was a village area in Tamil nadu. My Friend who was driving the bike felt something is wrong with the bike and while drinking the tea he told me the same. With the tea cup in my hand i went ahead to the bike and checked the oil meter and the tires."There lies the Problem".The rear wheel of my bike was punctured.Since it was a tubeless tire we couldn't feel it.

My friend asked the Teashop guy for someone who could fix the puncture. He helped. One of the local guy came in 10 min with a puncture fixing kit and fixed it.We were very much thankfull to him and gave the amount he asked without any further bargaining eventhough the rate he asked was actually double the original 'puncture fixing' rate.In a trip like this you cannot bargain ,since it is not your place and you are at someone else's mercy.Anyway we started again. We were catching the time lag which incurred due to puncture. Our bike moved unconditionally fast in the lonely rode.

Again after 2 hours we stopped for our lunch. For the safer side we again checked the tire."DAMN"
It is again punctured. We didn't know that.If the bike was not stopped we would have burnt the tires resulting in a BIG MESS.Upon inquiring for a puncture shop we came to know that it is 2 km away and we have to take our bike there in order to fix it.

We started walking aside the highway pushing the bike.Suddenly a Police Constable came in our front from no where. He asked me where i had stole this bike from.He treated us in a way like we are the culprits of some criminal case.He asked me to produce all the documents regarding the bike. Fortunately since this was a long trip i had carried all the documents. He read every line of it very slowly. After that he asked me the questions from RC book like a teacher ask children."which year and which month did u buy your bike","your permanent address and so on".After his formalities he asked me what happened to bike.I told him it is punctured and we are in search for a shop.He gave our documents back and asked me to pay Rs 500. "WHY ON THE WORLD SHOULD I PAY Rs 500 ,since i have produced all the documents".

I asked him why should i pay , since nothing is wrong in my part.He turned the other side and extended his hand open towards me for me to keep Rs 500 in it.I told him firmly i will not pay  the amount unnecessarily. He started threatening us stating he would make us trapped and we will never go out to our place. " Pure Injustice" against one who had his  bike stuck in the middle of the road. After two minutes of silence i asked him again "Give me one good reason why should pay money to you".He opened his mouth loud stating "Since your bike got punctured in our place.Anyway you have to pay for it , along with it pay for me too." The most unethical way of looting money from public.

The situation went worse and  we had to pay him money at last since it was delaying our trip as well as wasting our time.Like I am bargaining in a street shop , i bargained with Police constable and gave him Rs 300.I felt ashamed of myself for paying him money for no good reason.

The presence of such people in Police department will gradually the ruin the trust public have on them. They have the right to charge Fine when the relevant documents are not carried while travelling,
but such kind of injustice which is still prevailing in our country should be eradicated.

I personally believe government cannot alone  make the country better unless and until the people also cooperate.
