Aarati and Sivani were good frnds.They both come from different states.Aarati is from kerala and Sivani from Tamilnadu.It is during the training period of a software company they met each other.
Aarati is a kind of reserved girl ,she lives in her own world.She sings beautifully and also dances well.She see her life in all such activities.She doesnt bother to make friends .All she have is her three friends which she made from college.When she studies she will get 100%into it.When She sleeps she wil get her 100% into it.She doesnt bother what is happening outside.Not her fault ,She is like this.
On the contrary ,Sivani is different .Sivani always love to make new freinds.She sees her hobby in spending time with new friends.She is very much social compared to Aarati.Hectic training sessions in the software field ,gradually developed the freindship between these two girls.Aararti started loving her friendship.Sivani also put her full into the relation.When days passed by ,others see these girls always together.Even after the training period they were posted into the same location,Banglore.They were very happy for them.
Sivani and Aarati decided to change into a flat where Sivani's Friends are staying.Aarati was bit hesitant to live there since she cannot adjust with Sivani's tamil friends.But Sivani gave her confidence.As days passed,Sivani made new freinds.At office sivani spends time with some boys .Aarati doenst like all these.So she always sat in her cubicle doing her work.At the end of the day sivani would come to her cubilce and they left together.
Aarati started becoming alone.She tried her best to keep in gel with Sivani's friends.She understood it is impossible.She spend her time completely in her room and at cubicle.Though sivani knew Aarati is getting isolated she couldnt help it.She was getting damn busy with her large friend cirlce.
Sivani's father got ill.Her mom was asking her to apply for a transfer to chennai.She did apply a transfer.Her transfer would be granted in 3-4 months.Aarati was getting more and more down.She is loosing her one and only friend in the large Banglore city.Sivani seemed very happy and excited to get her transfer to home town.
Her happiness made aarati even down.
Aarati was terribly worried about the days after Sivani leaves to her home town.Fortunately or unfortunately three girls from her project asked whether she would like to stay with them as they have a space vacant and they are looking for a new roomie.These girls are mallu girls and their outlook says that they are adjustable for Aarati.She said alright.Half of her tension got releived.After Sivani left ,atleast she shouldnt live with tamil girls.But wad wil Sivani say ,when she knew about the new room change?Is she matured enough to understand the situation?Anyway aarati presneted the matter to sivani.Sivani reacted harsh.She commented like "if you dnt want my friend ship,get lost".From the next day sivani stopped talking to aarati.The other three girls were continuosly asking her to come with them?
Atlast she decided to change the room.One fine morning she changed the room.The new roomies are very adjustable for Aarati.She made good friend ship with them.Now Aarati is no more alone.She laughs, talks more ,sing for her roomies .But at the end of the dayshe recollected she still love Sivani a lot.Sivani behaved very rude to aarati.She doent even mind her when they see each other.This hurted aarati a lot.
At last the day came when Sivani is having her last day at Banglore office.She prepared a detail mail for aarati and sent it across.She realised her mistakes and was begging sorry in that mail.She mentioned like it was her possesivness which made her behave rude.Aarati's eye's were filled with tears when she saw that.
She ran towards her.After three months of their cold war they spend few hours together.Sivani told she will be leaving from the town the very next day.Aarati decided to go and sign off her.As an advance birthday gift to sivani ,Aarati has already bought a gift.She thought she will give it to her the next day.
They both left for the day to their respective flats.Being a weekend Arati woke up at 9 AM next day.As soon as she woke up she called Sivani.She need to know when is her train?She should get ready and go to sign off Sivani.But everything went wrong.She could hear train's sound.Sivani has already got into the train.
Sivani expected Aarati to be with her when she got into the train.
Aarati couldnt control herself .She cried.Sivani was under the impression she means nothing for aarati.A wall of misunderstaning grows in her mind.Aarati took days to get out of that sorrow.She understood it was her mistake.
Years passed.Sivani got married .Same happend with Aarati.Aarati still calls Sivani. She even went to Chennai to meet her.Sivani now realised the value of her friend ship.All other friends left after her marriage.Now all she has is her Aarati.It was true that small misunderstanding created a distance ,but in the long run true feelings always will shine stronger.Aarati still has her five or six friends she mad in her whole life .But on the contrary Sivani is now depended entirely on aarati.
It is better to have a friend, life long than 100 short term freinds.
